A GOLDEN HARVEST

As many of my friends already know, I have a slight attraction to the color gold.... okay, they might describe it as a bit of an infatuation, but either way, I find myself drawn to this metallic hue. Whether it may be a metallic gold clutch or just a small shimmering detail, I'm completely head-over-heels! So when I came across an ad featuring pumpkins accented with gold leaf, I knew I had to try it for myself. Although Halloween has come and gone, this is a great way to transition your pumpkins into more festive decor for your Thanksgiving company.

REDUCED GUILT COOKIES

These cookies quickly became a favorite of mine after trying this recipe for the first time a few years ago. If you like oatmeal raisin cookies, then you'll love this heartier version. You may just find yourself substituting your usual breakfast with one... or maybe two. Hey, I won't judge! A cookie packed with this many seeds, nuts and raisins has to be good for you right? Well, I use the words "good for you" loosely, but after you take your first bite you'll be convinced that they must be "good for you" too!
