With Halloween just around the corner, my consumption of "fun size" candy has gotten a bit out of control, so I decided to find a festive recipe that wasn't a dessert. When I came across this recipe for chips and guacamole with a spooky twist, I knew I had to try it for myself. A departure from traditional Halloween sweets, this recipe is quick and easy, making it perfect for entertaining a crowd. And come on, how cute are the names?

DIY-OR-BUY: 01

I've always been a fan of "do-it-yourself" projects giving old picture frames, lamp shades, and worn jeans a new life. I love flexing my creativity and tackling a new project, all while adding a personal touch to the things I have in my closet and decor. I came up with the idea for this post because lately I've gotten in the habit of pausing to ask myself before I make a purchase: "Could I make this myself?" The answer to this question varies, but it's fun to think outside the box and get inspired to try something new. So what do you think?
