DIY: PAINTED LEAF PLACE CARDS
I've noticed an abundance of non-traditional Thanksgiving decor and entertaining ideas floating around the internet, which got me inspired to try something a little different too. I fell in love with the idea of painting leaves and thought they'd make the perfect Thanksgiving dinner place cards, so I decided to give it a try. After gathering leaves in various shapes and sizes, I placed them between the pages of magazines and let them sit over night with a few heavy books on top. In the morning I added a few coats of acrylic paint and let them dry before adding names with a metallic Sharpie. Overall it was quick, easy and practically free, which makes it the perfect way to add a personalized touch to your Thanksgiving table.
