Classic Lemon Bars



Lemon Bars typically tend to be something people either love or hate, and judging by the topic of today's post, I'm sure you can guess which category I fall into. Not only do I love the bright yellow hue, but the tart lemon flavor paired with a buttery shortbread crust is something I crave! While not exactly a quick dessert to make, it was the perfect way to brighten a dreary "Spring" day and ignore the fact that snow was in the forecast for the week ahead. The weather has been less than ideal this Spring, leaving me to quite literally make "lemonade out of lemons" by making Springy desserts, buying fresh flowers and diving into full-on Spring cleaning mode.
