Typically when it comes to earrings I opt for barely-there studs or delicate ear crawlers, but lately I have noticed that statement earrings are making a comeback and I am tempted to try something a bit bolder. While I can vividly remember my college "going out" days and routinely wearing halter tops with flashy chandelier earrings, the trend has thankfully shifted since then. Overall, there seems to be three main themes that current statement earrings have: tassels, pom poms or architectural shapes - all of which would pair well with an off-the-shoulder top, classic turtle neck or crisp oxford shirt.
